Information Technology Staff
He oversees the management of the University’s computing and
telecommunications infrastructure. Ezra joined Spalding in September
2005 as Coordinating Director of Enrollment Management. Before coming to
Spalding, Ezra was Director of Graduate Admissions at the School of
Communication at American University in Washington, DC. He also worked
as an undergraduate academic advisor to students in the College of Arts
and Sciences. Ezra received his BA in International Studies from the
School of International Service at American University in 1998, and in
2005 he earned his MBA with an emphasis in Information Technology and
Accounting from the Kogod School of Business at American University.
Nancy Crowhorn, PC Hardware Technician
Nancy
supports faculty, staff and students with software and hardware issues
and keeps the 750 plus computers on campus working smoothly.
Eric Bennett, Senior Programmer
Eric
is an alumnus of Spalding University and has worked in the IT
department for 15 years. His primary responsibilities are the Spalding
portal, integrating applications with Ellucian Colleague, and developing
mobile and web applciations.
Rob Giesting, Director of Institutional Research and Administrative Computing
Through
informational dashboards, data extractions, and just-in-time
reporting, Rob is responsible for helping data to "flow" through the
university, working closely with Academics, Admissions, Advancement,
Financial Aid, and many others to provide data for decision making,
compliance, and student support. He has a BA in English from Wabash
College, a BP in philosophy from the Pontifical College Josephinum, and
an MA in English from the University of Louisville.
Ashleigh
supports the Information Technology department by providing customer
relationship management (CRM) software maintenance, development and
oversight for our campus wide CRM platforms. She serves as a liaison and
collaborator between Information Technology and Admissions, as well as
Academic Support. Ashleigh works to provide innovation and efficiencies
through configuration, performance, workflows, and integrations. She
manages relationships with outside vendors to ensure all products and
services are performing properly. Focused on troubleshooting and
performance issues, she serves as the main point of contact for end user
questions and manages CRM support requests. Ashleigh is a 2020 alumna
receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with concentrations in
Anthropology and Psychology.
Tyler Hunter, Netowrk Specialist- Information Technology/Help Desk
Tyler
joined the Information Technology department in 2019 as a PC support
technician helping Nancy Crowhorn to support Faculty, Staff and students
with software and hardware issues. In late summer of 2020 he moved into
the Network Specialist role following the retirement of Dennis Tyler.
He helps to support and maintain Spalding’s network connectivity and to
troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise; he also still assists
with software and hardware issues when needed. Tyler has an Associates
of Science & Bachelors of Science in Information Technology both
from Sullivan University
